Actuall I can’t say so much about Katrin because I don’t know her personally. Because of our e-mail conversations I  could get to know her much better. I got in touch with her, because I was interesting in TAR Syndrom.

She was enthusastic, that an outsider wanted to know more about that disease. So in our first mails we were determinant of professional discussions about TAR and other diseases.

Handicaps in general. I learned, beside a knew knowledge about her disease, that Katrin is an utmost, self-confident young Woman. Her greatest good is her independence and she wants to maintain it at all events.

The worst for her is, when somebody tries to Mother her or tries to help her all the time. She’s right when she said it’s obvious if you have to live with restriction. But it is not obvious

that she helps to create a side like that.

And it isn’t obvious that she has telephonecalls (for hours)with an in experiend Mother of a TAR-Child. So I could  tell much more about it. Who could say to live in an foreign country on your own bat? I think not all her daily feat should be discussed here(she doesn’t want it anyway!). You should speak about her –not obvious-engegement.

If you get away from TAR-like both of us, during our e-mail contact-

Katrin is wonderful e-mail Friend, a lovely Person and competent talkpartner. I am always happy when I get an e-mail from her. It doesn’t matter if she’s in a good or a bad mood.

You can always talking to her. Sometimes she needs a word of comfort and someone who listen to her. But actually she is fun and happy and tells me of her various trips.

On that way I want to wish her and the other makers of that page all the best and success with

 the clearing up of TAR
