Now you can see how it is to live with TAR- Syndrom. My case is really extreme, because my legs are affected as well. It was a hard way until I went to the hospital in Aachen. I had the choise: one day to move with crossed legs or an operation.

 What would you do?

They stacked my kneecap. The Bone of my leg was cut above and under my knee and they straightened it. To fix my leg after the operation they put me in a kind of a splint. I was allowed to wear it for eight month. In extreme moments  in this five weeks in Aachen I learnt that I didn’t roast in the hell. I learnt that, fear, despair or the typical question why I couldn’t help me, didn’t help!I started to learn again to live with TAR. I have to accept me how I am. Maybe you learn it through my openness as well.
